By accessing or using Job Marshal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

Job Marshal provides AI-powered job matching services that scan publicly available job postings and compare them against user-provided resume content. Results are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute career or employment advice. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the validity or currency of any job posting.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent.

4. User Content

By uploading your resume or other content, you grant Job Marshal a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not sell, share, or use your resume content for any purpose other than delivering the service. You retain full ownership of all content you upload.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Job Marshal to violate any applicable law, infringe on the rights of others, or interfere with the operation of the service. Automated scraping, bulk data extraction, or reverse engineering of our platform is prohibited. Posting fraudulent information or attempting to manipulate AI scoring is also prohibited.

6. Credits and Billing

Free accounts receive a limited number of searches per month at no charge, which reset on the 1st of each month. Paid credits are purchased through our billing page and never expire. Credits are only deducted when a search completes and returns results. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis — contact us at contact@jobmarshal.io.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Job Marshal does not guarantee employment outcomes, accuracy of AI scoring, or availability of any specific job posting. We make no representations about the suitability of the service for any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Job Marshal and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities or reliance on AI-generated scores.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, software, and design elements used on Job Marshal are the property of Job Marshal or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect our platform and community. You may delete your account at any time from the Account Settings page.
